Liv Antonecchia

Each piece of Surface Ceramics is handmade by Liv Antonecchia in her South Carolina studio.

“I was born and raised in New York State just north of New York City. Growing up my focus was always on art either at home or school. I attended the art school at Virginia Commonwealth University concentrating in ceramics and glass working. I love the endless possibilities with clay and how you could work in functional and sculptural pieces.
After several years of creating work part time my family and I moved to the Charleston, South Carolina area. I focused on functional pottery and sold to area shops and shows.
In 2015 I started to focus more on ceramic wall decor for the home. Today is my work includes sculptural wall pieces and functional wheel thrown pottery.”
